Event Challenge: Creating a new experience for guests.

“Dinner on Stage” is a special event for the client and each year we are faced with challenge of designing a new experience for guests.  r Sometimes this means switching up the route guests take throughout this “Progressive Dinner” experience or changing up our dinner service from courses to family style. We always have to be creative with this client.  This year, we decided to surprise the guests with entertainment to enjoy throughout the evening.  Attendees were treated to dance performances form The Dance Cartel to readings from famous American playwright, professor, and essayist Sarah Ruhl’s, “100 Essays I Don't Have Time to Write: On Umbrellas and Sword Fights, Parades and Dogs, Fire Alarms, Children, and Theater.”  The addition of multiple performances throughout the entire building increased our need for deeper line production and show-calling.  We are always up for a challenge and added creative freedom, so this was an event we had a ton of fun producing.
